Brief Description
Ceramic jug with side arm. White glaze. Features two black images on either side. One of a Victorian cricket match, the other of horse racing at Ascot. Inscriptions below each read, "THE OATLAND STAKES AT ASCOT", and "GRAND CRICKET MATCH PLAYED IN LORDS GROUND MARYLEBONE JUNE 20 AND FOLLOWING DAY BETWEEN THE EARL OF WINCHELSEA & DARNLEY FOR 1000 GUINEAS".
