Brief Description
Unused Christmas card with a printed reproduction of a watercolour landscape. The colour image on the front was painted by Henry Burn and depicts the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the first visit by an English team - Stephenson's XI in 1862. Printed greeting inside from the Curatorial Staff of the Australian Gallery of Olympic Sport & Olympic Museum.
