Brief Description
Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Archibald Campbell "Archie" MacLaren (1871-1944), English Test batsman, included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The artist's original image number - 34 - subject's name, and the dates '1894-95 to 1909', are handwritten below the design. A sheet of tracing paper, with grid lines and references for the layout of the tapestry, folds over the artwork which is signed and dated by the artist.
