Brief Description
Group of documents relating to the Melbourne Organising Committee for the XVI Olympiad. Brown, heavy-weight card folder with metal binding device. The folder contains pamphlets, correspondence, minutes and other documents, filed between A-Z dividers. The documents - copies that appear to have been collected by Mr F.H. Pizzey (his name is handwritten on a significant number of them) - cover a range of topics including recommendations for the selection of officials; stadium layout plans and suggestions for positioning of officials; and, Olympiad news releases. Most of the correspondence is from Mr Thos. B. Dodds to Mr L. B.Curnow (Organising Committee for XVI Olympiad).
