Brief Description
Circular ceramic plate with blue and white glaze, features Olympic rings at centre top with building structure to left of central discus thrower and stadium to right. Title around lower edge of plate reads "XX OLYMPIADE MUNCHEN 1972". Manufacturer's mark on base in blue on white glaze background reads in part "BERLIN / DESIGN / Echt Scharffeuer - Kobait..." Through two small holes on the base ring is a looped and knotted clear nylon thread for hanging of plate.
