Season 1956, Premiers 1955 mounted football.Trophy, featuring silver football affixed to a bell-shaped stand and mounted on a circular, polished wood plinth. A silver plaque, attached to the plinth, is engraved with the inscription MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB / V.F.L. PREMIERS 1955-56 / B. DIXON.
