Brief Description
A three-volume scrapbook, compiled by Form 3 (Year 9) Heidelberg High School student, and Heidelberg West local, Irene Berzinski, titled (on title page, Book One), "STARS OF 1956 / OLYMPIC GAMES / HELD IN / MELBOURNE". The covers of all three books are blue, with green cloth adhesive tape down the spine. Contents include newspaper and magazine cut-outs of athletes competing at the 1956 Games, and are organised by country. Each country has it's own introduction page, featuring the national flag, drawn by Berzinski. At the back of Volume Three are two loose pages featuring athlete autographs.
