Brief Description
Boxed, bronze-coloured participant's medallion from the Helsinki Games. One side features cast designs of an athletic track superimposed with stylized male profile, with a crown of leaves, and the same profile impressed into the metal. Lettering around the border reads, "HELSINKI / HELSINGFORS / 1952". The reverse features a cast profile of a male and female each facing left and each holding a torch. Lettering above reads, "XV OLYMPIA". The medallion comes with a small grey and blue box and lid featuring printed gold Olympic Rings.
