Brief Description
An album, with black and white and colour photographs, contained within a cardboard box. Cover of album and box is burgundy coloured. The album cover is padded and features a vertical ribbon in the German national colours of black, red, and yellow. Across the bottom is impressed: DEUTSCHE DEMOKRATISCHE REPUBLIK. All photographs contained depict highlights from the 2nd German (Democratic Republic) Gymnastics and Sports Festival, held in Leipzig, GDR, in mid. 1956. Handwritten text in white ink, accompany each photo.
