Brief Description
Silver-coloured medal in a clear plastic display case which slides open. The medal features an image of a seated religious figure with right hand raised and left hand holding an open book. There is lettering cast along the circumference of the medallion - 'ORVM:DE:DVISBOR:GN:SI:GILLVMOPPIDAM'. The reverse features a stylised image of four oars and water, and text that reads 'Ruder-WM/ Duisburg/1983'. The item appears to be a commemorative or competitor's medallion.
