A 24-page (cover exclusive) programme, with a card cover and bound with a yellow ribbon. Cover title: 'PONTIFICAL MASS/CATHOLIC CONTRIBUTION TO CIVIC CEREMONIES/OLYMPIC GAMES/MELBOURNE/25TH NOVEMBER, 1956'. Along with the Mass programme is a facsimile of a hand written letter, in French, from H.H. Pope Pius XII, blessing the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.
