Brief Description
An unnumbered hardback publication, featuring on the brown cover, a design of a golden hand holding up a flaming torch. Frontispiece header reads: 'THE OLYMPIC/GAMES/MELBOURNE 1956/.../A COLORGRAVURE PUBLICATION'. Content comprises of colour and black and white photo images of all the major moments occurring during each day of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Images are accompanied by a short text. Furthermore, all the heat and final placings for each event held on a particular day are recorded in the book.
