Brief Description
Original, hinged box for a gold medal - 1999.3565.2 - won by rower, Peter Antonie, at the Edinburgh Commonwealth Games. The lid of the navy blue box bears a silver printed emblem of the Games. The medal mount inside is red, and the lining white with an attached, red white and blue label that reads 'XIII COMMONWEALTH GAMES/ SCOTLAND 1986'.
