Brief Description
A 24-page (cover exclusive) booklet. Features printed versions of three speeches to be delivered by: Robert Menzies (A.O.C. President of the Games), Avery Brundage (I.O.C. President), and Dallas Brooks (Governor of Victoria), at the Opening of the Congress of the I.O.C., 1956. Inscription on cover reads, in French and English: 'SPEECHES AT SOLEMN OPENING OF/THE CONGRESS OF THE/INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC/COMMITTEE/TOWN HALL, MELBOURNE/11 a.m./19th NOVEMBER, 1956.'.
