Brief Description
Matchbox holder made from metal covered with white plastic-coated material (outside only) that has black text and images.The metal has been folded twice to form the shape of the front, back and one side of a match box. There is a black and white image on the front of Marjorie Jackson (athlete) running. The text beneath reads 'MARJORIE JACKSON / Olympic Champion / Worlds Record Holder / 100 Metres'. The black and white image on reverse is a full length portrait of Jimmy Carruthers (boxer). The text beneath reads 'JIMMY CARRUTHERS / World Bantam / Champion'. Text along side (spine) reads SOUVENIR / of Australian sport'.
