Brief Description
Stapled booklet of 32 pages in black newspaper print with paper covers. Cover has a black and white photograph of a player taking a mark and an advertisement for Nu-plastic Paint. Text on the cover reads, in part, "NORTH MELB. / Vol. 54-No. 9-June 5, 1965 / Registered at the G.P.O., Melb., for trans- / mission through the post...". There are black and white photos and articles throughout. Reverse has an advertisement for "GOLDEN FLEECE".

This copy of the Football Record contained an article (and photo) of the boys who were trained by Jack Irving at North Melbourne oval in 1965. The training was for field umpires for school competitions and was organized by the then AFL.
