Brief Description
Silver cup on thin stem with flared circular base. The bowl is ornately engraved with an angular 'celtic' knot design around the rim and other patterns resembling shapes such as fleurs-de-lys with a medieval look. Text engraved on the bowl reads M.C.C. / HULL TROPHY . PRESENTED / by the / Hon. W. Wilson / Best Bowling Average / Season 1880-81 / AWARDED TO / Mr. J.D. Edwards.
