Brief Description
Silver teapot with oval cross-section and straight sides which slope inwards towards the top. The spout is long and thin, almost as tall as the teapot, and the handle is rounded and attached with white disks. The body of the pot is ornately engraved with a foliage design, and engraved on the front with "M.C.C. /DOUBLE HANDICAP / 1893 / Won by / E.T. Barnard." The lid hinged and sits in an indent in the top, forming a flat surface except for the raised hinge and thin, tall knob.
