Brief Description
Portrait painting of Max Walker. The work is titled 'Sporting life of Max Walker', has a landscape format, and is composed of a bust portrait of a man wearing a headset and pointing his left index finger upwards with three background scenes - on the left footballers, in the centre two views of the MCG, and on the right, a batsman being bowled out. A small image of the ashes urn is below the portrait, and the artist's signature is in the lower-left, "WEBBE / 1999". On the reverse, painted along the upper frame is the title of the work and artist's address.
