Brief Description
Black and white photograph featuring water colour painting of cricket match at Annandale, Simla, Punjab state, June 1854. Depicts an Indian Hill station with players dressed in long trousers, shirts and broad brimmed hats. A backdrop of wooded hills are prominent. Two peaked marquees are pitched on open ground in the centre. Number of people gathered near broad tree with flat marquee closeby. Writing on reverse reads "MCC192"and "1F". It also includes "Marylebone Cricket Club" stamp.
