Brief Description
Black and white photograph featuring figurine of cricketer in bowling action. Rear pose, wearing open necked shirt with rolled sleeves, long trousers and boots. Depicts the overarm bowling action legalised in 1864. Mounted on cylindrical and square plinth. One of two photographs showing a front and rear image. Writing on reverse reads, "MCC402A"and "4F". It also includes photographers stamp, "Wallace Heaton Ltd. / 127 New Bond Street / London / W1 / Negative no. MCC402A". Item has "M2321.1" rubbed out.
