Brief Description
Unused ticket, printed in blue ink, for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. The front features the seat number, date, time, and Olympic rings and torch logos. The inscription reads, in part, MAIN STADIUM / MELBOURNE CRICKET GROUND / XVI OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE. Printed on the reverse in black ink are the conditions of sale and a map of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
