Brief Description
Photograph of an object in the Marylebone Cricket Club collection. The object is a wooden cassone, or chest with five coats of arms carved into the front. The chest is supported by two metal buffaloes on either side. The chest is held open by rods and inside is an opened book showing scenes of cricket matches. On the reverse, a stamp reads, "Marylebone Cricket Club". Writing on reverse reads, "MCC483"and "3E".
