Brief Description
Souvenir ball that consists of a used brown leather cricket ball. Ball consists of four panels. The ball has been stitched together across the centre with six rows of twine. On the front there is a two part decorative silver plate which has been engraved and it reads 'W.L.MURDOCH . 211/SOUVENIR/KENNINGTON OVAL AUGST..11. 12. 13. 1884/.ENGD. V AUSTLA. DRAWN/P.S.M'DONNELL. 103 H.J.H.SCOTT. 102'. There is an image of a kangaroo in the centre. Attached to this plate is an uninscribed band.
