Brief Description
Large format sheet-music booklet, made up of the front and back covers, and four double- sided pages. Front cover features a colour picture of men playing cricket in the centre, surrounded on the four corners by soldiers shooting, men boxing, men rowing, and a boy being kissed by his mother. The title reads, "THE BOYS / OF / MERRY ENGLAND", "QUADRILLES / COMPOSED BY / C.H.R. MARRIOTT". Handwritten inscription on cover, "8", with each page numbered sequentially from 9.1.
