Brief Description
Willow cricket bat, with sealed spliced blade and twine bound handle covered with a black rubber grip. The maker's mark WISDEN is twice printed on the front of the the blade, and once on the back with EXCELLER/ SHORT HANDLE DELUXE. Inscribed on the face is AUSTRALIANS 1949, with signatures of both men and women, and on the back IN MELBOURNE 1949, with women's signatures underneath.
