Brief Description
Unused 45c postage stamp. Text on the stamp reads in part "Barbados / 45c / BELT BUCKLE CIRCA 1780 / GEORGE CHALLENOR". In the border above the stamp is the text "WSP". The stamp has a cricket bat sitting horizontally across three wicket stumps with a red cricket ball in the lower left corner. There are two photos. The left one is of a metal belt buckle on a light grey backing and the right is a head and shoulder, full profile black and white picture of George Challenor wearing a cricket team uniform cap, shirt and blazer. Attached to duplicate stamp.
