Brief Description
Single page from a stamp album, cream coloured with a central grid printed in gold. Five stamps in a strip are mounted on black card and adhered to the page, with a single stamp, likewise mounted on black card, affixed below.The stamps show coloured scenes of a cricket match being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The printed text on the top row of stamps reads, "18 / AUSTRALIA / TEST CRICKET CENTURY / 1877-1977", and on the single stamp, "45 / AUSTRALIA / TEST CRICKET CENTURY / 1877-1977". Nine rows of typewritten text appears at the top, describing the scenes depicted on the stamps and acknowledging the contribution of Hans Ebeling (cricketer).
