Brief Description
Sepia photograph, mounted on board, studio portrait of cyclist Matt Chappell on his bicycle. The photo was taken following Chappell's winning the Dunlop Warrnambool-Melbourne Road Race, held on 3 Oct 1908. Chappell wears dark short-sleeved top and shorts. Frame is wood with light stain and includes glass cut to size.
