Brief Description
A copy of an original painting in the National Library of Australia. It is a colour print of a cricket match in progress on an expanse of grass in front of two large stone buildings (castles?), one octagonal. A piece of paper with handwritten text is glued to the back and explains the history of this picture, including that it is the Australian Cricketers at Chilham Castle, Kent, August 1878. It is framed in a honey-coloured frame with glass.
