Photograph of the moment when West Indian fielder Joe Solomon threw down the wicket and ran out Ian Meckiff to force a tie in the first 1960 test between Australia and the West Indies at Brisbane. The West Indian fielders are celebrating around the stumps as the Australian batsman slides his bat in. Printed in the lower-left is "TAA presents - 'Famous last wicket fall' / First Test Aust v W Indies Brisbane 1960 / Last Aust batsman (MECKIFF) run out second last ball / of last over of match and the match ending in a tie". Reg number inscribed bottom left reverse.
