Brief Description
Discoloured cream card. Full body drawing of a man, full profile, with a hand on hip and a hand on brown/yellow cricket bat. Knee is slightly bent. Wears a grey top hat, pink spreading bow tie, white shirt, white pants, black 'Oxford' shoes. A Church and other indistinguishable buildings in background. Text at bottom of page reads, in part, "George Leopold Langdon, Esq re"; with, "C.J. Basebe" at lower left, and, "C. Hunt" at lower right. Publisher W.H. Mason, Repository of Arts, Brighton, Oct. 13 1841 lower centre. Writing on reverse reads, "K21438 / 5-100".
