Brief Description
Full length picture of a man in full profile on cream paper. He holds a red cricket ball at waist height with both hands. His legs are slightly parted and he wears a black top hat, blue bow tie, white shirt, cream suspenders and pants and black shoes. Text centre below the image reads " HILLYER." Above the image is printed "SKETCHES AT LORDS. No. 3 [ 8?] ". Printed immediately below the image l.l. "John C. Anderson del et lith." and printed l.r. immediately below the image "Printed by Hullmandel & Walton". Beneath the title, centre printed "London, Published by John Corbet Anderson, 40, Church Road, De Beauvoir Square, Kingsland June 17th 1850 and by Mr. R. Dark, Lord's Ground". Window and fringe mounted.
