Brief Description
Full length picture of a man in 3/4 profile on cream paper. He holds a cricket bat in his left hand by the handle and his right thumb is tucked into the waist line of his pants. He wears a white cap, red bow tie, white shirt, pants and shoes. Title centre below image reads: "ALFRED DIVER. / BORN AT CAMBRIDGE JULY 6ht(sic) 1824.". Printed l.l. "John C. Anderson, del et lith."; immediately below image l.r. "Printed by Stannard & Dixon". Printed below title in centre "Published by Lillywhite & Wisden, 2 New Coventry St. Leicester Square, London, July 18th 1858."
