Brief Description
Drawing, coloured ink on off-white paper, of a man in white pants, white shirt, grey cap and black bow-tie. He poses with a bat casually held at his right side, left fist on hip. Green fields and a castle are in the background. Printed underneath image is "HEATHFIELD HARMAN/ STEPHENSON,/ BORN MAY 3RD 1833, AT ESHER, SURREY." Some archival paper tape on the upper edge. Immediately below image, l.l., is printed "John C. Anderson, del. et lith."; with l.r., immediately below image"Printed by Stannard & Dixon". In the centre below the title printed "Published by F. Lillywhite & Wisden, 2 New Coventry, St. Leicester Square, London, March 12th 1858."
