Brief Description
Black and white lithographic print depicts a cricket match between Kent and All Englands at Canterbury on Monday August 4th 1845. Print showing a gathering of men in suits and top hats, as well as women and children, watching the cricket match where the players wear top hats. Directly underneath the image is printed PUBLISHED BY H. WARD, MERCERY LANE, CANTERBURY and l.l. W. BURGESS, Del. The inscription underneath reads TO THE PRESIDENT & MEMBERS OF THE BEVERLEY AND EAST KENT CRICKET CLUB/ This Print, representing the Match played at Canterbury on Monday August 4th 1845, between Kent & All Englands./is respectfully dedicated, by your obedient servant,/Henry Ward.
