Brief Description
Small print with hand-coloured watercolour, depicting two gentlemen playing with a red ball on grass. The man at left, wearing a white shirt, waistcoat, pants and a yellow top hat is seen from behind, leaning to the left as if to catch the ball being thrown in his direction by the other man, who is seen from the front and lunging to his right, wearing a brown jacket, white shirt and pants and a yellow top hat. Blue sky background. Cream window mount; simple bronze-painted wooden frame. Original verso inscription, "Baer 1962 Collection no. 70". Artist, H S Altham.
