It features a large group of men, comprising of familiar cricketing and aristocratic personalities of the late 19th century, including the three founders of I Zingari Cricket Club (one is in a wheelchair), seated in and standing around the Pavilion at Lord's Cricket Ground. A number of cricketers and a few officials are on the pitch, in front of the Pavilion. The Marylebone CC flag flutters on a mast to the far left.
