Brief Description
Off white scorecard with brown print on glossy paper affixed to a cardboard backing. Above the scorecard is a woodcut of a cricket scene (with curved bats and two-upright stumps), with a title reading 'A LIST OF THE GENTLEMEN CRICKETERS, / Playing on SEVENOAKS VINE, JUNE 27th & 28th 1780 / His Grace The Duke of DORSET against SIR HORACE MANN.'. Handwritten on the cardboard backing underneath the scorecard is "Presented to the Melbourne Cricket Club / By / The Honourable Josceline Amherst of Darlington, Western Australia."
