Brief Description
Black and white, sepia toned photograph featuring sketch map of Tour de France route, information about the ace including the distance of each stage. At the top centre is a small map of Australia with a telephone dial in the middle representing a 3LO radio symbol. Central to the map is an image of Hubert Opperman (Captain) on his cycle and at each of three corners are oval shaped images of Bainbridge, Watson and Osborne. In the lower right corner is a radio announcer sitting before a microphone. Inscriptions printed on front include "Le Tour de / France"; "Cycliste / 17th June till 15th July 1928". On the reverse is a pencilled diagram and printed in red "With Complemen.../Broadcasting" and "Melbourne".
