Brief Description
Black and white photograph depicting a view of the Tour de France undertaken in 1928 by the Australian Team, Herbert Opperman, Ernest Bainbridge, Percy Osborne and Harry Watson. A group of cyclists (possibly headed by Bainbridge) is rounding a stretch of road at Brest. Spectators are in the background and to the right side. Inscriptions on signs, "BREST"; EPASSEMENT...STATIONNEMENT".
