Brief Description
Black and white photograph, sepiatoned, featuring Ernest Bainbridge and two team mates sitting outside their dwelling in France during the Tour de France 1928. The men are wearing blazers and long woollen socks up to the knee over their trousers. The ground is cobbled. Inscription, reverse, handwritten, ink, "Taken at the house / where we live / Les s in Josas / France"
