Brief Description
Black and white, sepia toned photograph featuring Hubert Opperman, Ernest Bainbridge, Harry Watson and Percy Osborne riding at the 1927 Denley Grand Prix in the hills near Daylesford. Behind them at a distance are several cars of the era and walking spectators. There is a fenced area with trees and wooden cabins. On the reverse, inscription, handwritten in pencil, "Watson Bainy Osborn(sic) Oppy/ Denley Grn(sic) Prix/Hills near Daylesford"; handwritten in pencil at right, "G Prix/ 1927"; handwritten and circled "4"; stamped with photographer's details "Edwin R. Adamson".
