Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club member's ticket for the season 1898-99. The ticket consists of a single piece of card with a small hole in one corner through which a blue, red and white striped ribbon is threaded. On the obverse is the monogram of the MCC and the year "1898-9", embossed in gold on red-coloured leather. The reverse is printed with the membership number and has the date of issue, name of member (W.J. Treadaway Esq) and signatures of the Honorary Treasurer and Secretary hand-written in ink.
