Reads in part "Royal Cricketing Grounds./ A MATCH/ OF/ CRICKET/ WILL BE PLAYED AT/ BROWN'S ROYAL GROUNDS,/ On MONDAY, August the 15th, 1836" between 6 Gentlemen and 5 Players Of England against the County of Sussex. Lists the England and Sussex team-members underneath. Was originally framed in a black and gold wood frame, with verso label of Parker Gallery, London.
