Brief Description
Monochrome lithograph showing a batsman playing a forward defensive stroke. The cricketer is wearing a baggy cap. Under the image is printed "John C. Anderson, del et lith. / Stannard & Dixon / FORWARD PLAY. / No.5 / London, Published May 1st 1860 by F. Lilliwhite[sic], Kennington Oval." The print is mounted behind light-coloured card.
