Brief Description
Full-length portrait print of English cricketer David Denton. The chromolithograph is printed on a green background, and shows a frontal view of a batsman wearing cricket whites, pads and gloves, playing a cross-batted stroke. The batsman is also wearing a blue belt and a blue cap with the white rose of Yorkshire on the front. The print is loosely mounted on thick, white card, which has velcro tabs stuck to the back. The cricketer is identified in the lower-left as "D. Denton" and to the right is the artist's name and the date of production: "A. Chevallier Tayler, 1905"
