Brief Description
Large, colour lithograph of a cricket match with spectators assembled around the boundary. The viewpoint is from behind the bowler's arm, and the wide angle includes the whole oval, with more detail given to spectators in the foreground. In the lower-left is printed text, "F.G.Stevenson Sculpt" and in the lower-right is "H Jamyn Brooke", whose names are also signed at the bottom. Written in pencil at the bottom is the title, "Eton-playing field - Eton & Winchester match". At the top the publishers name and date, "Messrs Dickinson & Foster, 2 December 1889".
