Brief Description
Framed print of a watercolour depicting a group of men in cricket whites and top hats playing cricket. Seated spectators in suits, and houses with blue roofs, can be seen surrounding the ground. Print is oval-shaped, with banner draped around top edge listing names of players and scores; inscription around the border reads in part: THE GRAND JUBILEE MATCH PLAYED MONDAY JULY 10TH 1837 / AT LORDS GROUND, BETWEEN THE NORTH AND SOUTH OF ENGLAND. Black and gold wooden frame. On reverse a white label handwritten "33" . Also includes Baer"s Writing "Reprint". Item has another white label "MS1092" sealed.
