Brief Description
Colour lithograph titled: ' A VIEW OF THE GREEN IN RICHMOND SURRY[sic] TAKEN FROM THE TERRAS[sic]/ IN THE ROYAL GARDENS' title is in both English and French centre below the image. In progress is a game of cricket, with underarm bowling, curved bat, and a two-stump wicket. Some boys fly a kite, and in the road is a shepherd with his flock. Immediately below the image: l.l. 'Heckel Delin.'; centre 'Published according to Act of Parliament'; l.r., Grignion Sculpt.'. Centre below the title "Published 12 May 1794 by Little & Whittle, 53 Fleet Street, London. Cream windowmount, black and gold wooden frame.
